Ze starého nové: Taška z košile/ Upcycle: From Shirt to Bag

Přiznám se, že mám k mnoha návodům podobného ražení dost skeptický postoj. Ale tentokrát jsem zrovna měla po ruce nevyužitou košili a potřebovala jsem novou nákupní tašku, tak jsem vzala páráček a nůžky a pustila jsem se do práce.

 

Košile byla moje a byla značky Alpine Pro. Sama jsem jí moc nenosila, byla mi dost volná a barevnost kostkatého vzoru mi taky moc nesedla. Potom, co si nějakou dobu pobyla v mé skříni jsem se rozhodla jí prodat na Vinted, ale skutečnost, že si vystavená na těchto stránkách pobyla skoro tři roky aniž by o ní někdo projevil zájem, pro mně byla dostatečným argumentem, že jako taška bude více užitečná.

 

 

To be honest, I am rather sceptical when it comes down to upcycle tutorials similar to this. But the way how to recycle an old shirt and turn it into a shopping bag, hit a nail this time. I had one useless shirt and I desperately needed a new shopping bag. So I grabbed the scissors and went for it.

 The shirt was mine and its brand was Alpine pro. It was too large for me, and I didnť like the colours of the checked pattern anyway. I had been trying to sell it on Vinted but the simple fact that it had been posted there for almost three years and nobody seemed to have the interest in buying it, persuaded me. I decided that the shirt would be more useful as a bag.

Tohle jsem si vyfotila jen tak pro svoje svědomí. Až se budu někdy trápit nad tím, že se mi nepovedlo dokonale sesadit kostky, abych se mohla podívat jak to dělá konkurence.

This is just for my confidence. When you think you cannot manage to sew checked part meticulously enough, nothing is better confidence booster than take a brief look at your competition.

 

Košili jsem ustřihla trochu výše než bylo uvedeno v původních návodech. Z dolního lemu košile se stal horní lem hotové tašky, kapsičky jsem tedy musela vypárat a přišít je obráceně. V místě knoflíkové légy se látka napevno sešitá k sobě. Dno je odšité. Ucha tašky jsou nastřihaná z rukávů.

 

I cut the shirts a little bit higher than it was written down in instructions. I used the lower hem of the shirt as the upper hem of the bag, so I had to remove the pockets and sew them upside-down. The handles are cut from sleeves.

 

 

Tohle je výsledek. Taška vypadá na fotce trochu křivě ale to je proto, že je pro účely focená nacpaná věcmi. Z původní košile mi zbyl akorát límeček.

 

This is the result. The bag may be seem to be a little bit crooked, but it's caused by all the thing I had managed to tuck in it.
